Seven Reasons People Do not Set Goals In Internet Business! Many people have read books and  attended seminars on goal setting, yet less than 3 percent actually write them down.  Even if they do write them down they put them away some where and forget about them. A book I just finished reading by Brian Tracy, came up with seven reasons why people do not set goals whether in life or in their internet business. One:  People are just not serious enough.  Their big talkers but not doers.  They just do not have the burning desire it takes to become successful. You can not just talk the talk, you have to walk the walk. Taking action means not only writing down your goals, but saying them out loud at least twice a day. Two:  People have not yet taken responsibly for their lives.  They will continually come up with excuses for their failures, one excuse after another, which depletes all their positive energy.  If all you can think about is negative thoughts, nothing good will come about. Before most  people can succeed in a business they usually have several failures.  Remember to learn from your failures, move forward and success will follow. Three:  People feel they are not worthy enough for success.  They have been mentally and emotionally raised in a negative environment.  They feel like, What is the use?  Mindset is one of the most important factors in success.  If all you think about is, your not worthy enough to be a success, then you are right, you will not be a success.  You need to truly believe, stay positive about your future and success will be yours. Four:  People do not realize the real importance of goal setting. They were raised in a family that did not set goals, so therefore it is not important to them.  Setting goals will actually get you in the right mindset to accomplish anything you want. How can you achieve anything in life if you don not have a blueprint to follow, setting goals is your blueprint. Five:  People just do not know how. You can learn a great deal of education in school, but nothing about goal setting.  Search the internet, there are several articles on goal setting.  Check out your nearest book store for books on goal setting and motivation. From reading these books and applying the knowledge, you will find out how important goal setting is. Six:  People are afraid of rejection, of criticism.  It is easier just to go along with everyone else, than to be laughed at.  No one wants to sound like a fool with outrageous dreams, or goals. Most people do not have your enthusiasm about what you want to achieve in life.  So people will put you down in hopes that you will stay on the same level as they are.  With your enthusiasm and your dreams, the world is yours. Seven:  The biggest reason of all, is fear of failure. It is easier just to play it safe, than fail. The one thing to remember is, It is impossible to succeed without failing! Think of how many times Edison failed, without his final success we would have no light.  The Wright Brothers failed to first fly.  Think of where we would be if they just gave up their dream and listened to other people. Just take your failures as stepping stones and continue.  Before you know it the key to success will be yours. All great leaders set goals.  They do not use words like defeat or failure. Everyone has set backs when setting out to achieve their goals in life or an internet business.  The key is to be clear about your goals, only share them with people close to you that understand, and that every experience you come across just takes you closer to achieving your goals and your success.  Enjoy your future road to success
