In order to get followers on your Twitter page, you have to retweets posts to your site. When you are sending a retweets, it should be posts that people are interested in reading. The more informative posts that you put on your Twitter page, the more followers will be interested in what you have to say.
Sending a retweets is the way that you communicate to your followers on Twitter. You start by going to the prompt that says "What are you doing?" This is where you type in a retweets and press the "Update" button.
If followers send you retweets, you will want to reply to them. When you are sending a retweets back as a reply, you can hit the reply button next to the retweets you want to reply to. Your reply should be directly related to the retweets that was sent to you. Keep the reply short and simple.
Sending a retweets on Twitter helps you to establish a relationship with your followers.
When you are sending a retweets, be careful not to post complaints about other people or companies that you have dealt with in the past. In fact, it's not a good idea to talk negatively about your job on your Twitter website.
Another thing not to do when sending a retweets on twitter is not to blatantly advertise or promote your business. That's not to say that you can't mention it, but make it a subtle move when you do.
You will end up losing most if not all of your core base. You have to establish a relationship with them and gain their trust. They also need to gain your trust as well. By promoting your business right off the bat and then constantly mentioning it won't do you any good.
