In Your business your bottom line is of utmost importance. Whether you are just entering the business or already have been in the business, sitting done and calculating this equation is necessary.

So what is ROI? It is you Return on Investment. The equation is simply put as the benefit divided by the cost.

So let us market at the best cost for the greatest returns. Some of the best marketing for your product(s) are the following:

Website:

Submit your site. Don’t create your site and let it sit there. Who will know? Submit it to search engines. Start with the top ones:

Google
Yahoo
MSN
Ask.com
Hot Bot
Dogpile
AltaVista
AOL
Open Directory

Others you want to use:

Note that some of these will have a few of the above. So be careful in checking which ones that you want to submit to. Search engines do NOT like you to submit more than once.

All of these are free submission services listed above. Some offer pro or advanced but they do have the free option with good coverage.

Advertising:

There are many avenues in the field. Local online advertisers, including those through TV stations are usually free and offer good coverage to a wide range of people.

Newspaper advertising has seen record breaking traffic. According to Nielsen Online for the Newspaper Association of America (NAA), average audience figures show that site readers grew by more than 3.6% in 2007. This is an increase of more than 6% from the previous year.

More than 60 million readers have visited websites of newspapers in the last quarter of 2007.

Email Marketing:

There are many groups out there. Many with free leads but remember the saying that you get what you pay for. In either way this is a great return on your investment. Check your search engine for companies.

Blogs:

These are free to join. There are so many to choose from. Carefully select among them. When you join watch and read what others are saying first. Make sure your topic is relevant and that you are in the correct category.
