It’s here, finally! After months of bone-chilling cold and gloomy skies, the summertime has arrived. It’s the time of the year to sit back, relax …. and read! Despite its notorious reputation, summer reading doesn’t have to be such a chore. Here are some tips and tricks guaranteed to make your summer months an enjoyable, book-filled season!
Hit the Road
Do you associate reading with the memories of being holed up in your room finishing your summer reading list or scribbling a book report before you could run outside to play. Why not combine the two? Summer is the perfect season to embark upon a cross county road trip, drive to nearby field or travel to the nearest beach. This time, bring a book along. Thanks to the scenery, chances are you’ll forget you didn’t want to read in the first place.
Seize the moment
Throughout your years of education, you’ve probably encountered lists of classic book titles, ranging from the lengthy “War and Peace” to the simplistic yet worldly “Little Prince”. You’ve heard their titles, but you’ve never actually read some of the world’s greatest novels. Start now! Summertime is a perfect opportunity to read what you’d otherwise let collect dust. Stretch your dollars
There’s something alluring about a shiny new cover of the latest series you’re reading. Sure, owning novels is handy, especially if you like to loan or archive the books you’ve read, but it can become a pricey habit. But wait- there’s hope for you! Most towns have public libraries that are often accompanied by a free membership, or a small membership fee. Be sure to locate the library nearest you and return books on time because late fees do add up- and fast!

Can anyone send me in the right direction to solve an enviromental issue concerning used auto tires? Please, all ideas are considered. My family has helped clean up most of Va. by collecting junk vehicles and selling the used parts and recycling the remains. Now we need help figuring out a way to recycling the tires.I've read about but they did not supply the names of who does these transformations. Millions of tires each year into fuel, rubber lumber, asphalt, commercial flooring, and civil engineering projects. But, I am at a challenge to locate any of these manufacturers. Dump sites are not on option. What a challenge! Any suggestions appreciated.

This boy put vaseline in his dad's gas gauge because he's mad @ him. What's gonna happen to this man's car? I'm not sure if it's called a gas gauge, but it's the part where you put gasoline in the car. I forgot what it's called. Brain freeze because I'm so shocked about this.
Anyway, this 16-yr. old boy got mad @ his dad for something. I don't know. 1 of my friend's coworkers came & told us about it. & the dad said, "Since you wanna be so smart alec (sp.), you take YOUR money from your check you got paid with & go put gas in my car!"
So, the boy took his dad's car & took it ALL THE WAY to Dollar Tree to go get cheap Vaseline (petroleum jelly), & put it in the car & just left the car be, because he was afraid the car might blow up or break down on him or something, so he took the bus back home. Then, he lied to his dad, saying someone stole the car. & he went bragging & laughing to his friends about putting the vaseline in the gas gauge, or whatever.
Word spreads around small towns VERY fast! But the guy who came & told us was DYING laughing. I don't think it's funny. It's SAD! What precaution would you take if your teen did this to your car? & the man's car is like 3 yrs. old. The boy suffers ADHD & Bipolar & has behavior disorder & a learning disability.

I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring unlimited convertible and the lights on the speedometer and tachometer in the dome area won't turn on until I drive for about 10 minutes. I think these are in the dome area just behind the steering wheel. I've taken the car to a Chrysler dealer and they could not find or fix the problem.
