Poker is a very popular and interesting card game and it is now available on most of the land and online casino, and it can also be found in the betting exchange game. Players placed their bets on the central pot and the winner who has the highest ranking hands will win the pot.
Each player has 5 cards and it is based of the hierarchy, pre-determined or set rules to determine the winner. Players must understand the ranking of the poker game:
1.) Royal Flush – 5 cards comprise of Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten in the same suit.
2.) Straight Flush – 5 cards in the same suit and its combination run in sequence.
3.) Four of a Kind – 4 cards have the same value, plus a side card. If more than one player has the “four of a kind”, then the highest “4 of a kind” will win the pot.
4.) Full House- 3 cards have the same value Plus a pair.
5.) Flush – 5 cards comprise of the same suited
6.) Straight – 5 cards run in sequence
7.) Three OF A Kind – 3 cards of the same value Plus two side cards
8.) Two Pairs – 2 different pairs of cards plus a side cards
9.) One Pair – One pair plus 3 side cards. If two players have the same pair value, the next highest card wins. Or the second, or third side cards with the highest value will win the pot.
10.) High card – If none of hands has the abovementioned hands, then the player who has the highest card will win the pot.
Online Poker has become very popular and it is a very exciting game. Players should never assume you have already well versed in the online poker rules, because every casino operates the rules differently. And some of the rules may vary.
