When registering a domain name for a company, using the company's name is a given. Yet, using a company's name as the "only" domain name may be a disadvantage if the name is so complicated that you need to spell it out, specially when including it on email addresses.

1st.Use Acronyms: although it may be hard to find an available acronym, there are additions that you can make to find a friendly, easy-to-remember domain. Acronyms as domains are also important to use when creating email addresses. i.e: Instead of using info@superlongdomainname.com, info@sldmail.com can be used just to give out for email addresses. Also, instead of using http://www.superlongdomainname.com, hhttp://www.sldonline.com can be implemented as an alternate. This makes it easier to type your web site address.
2.Register multiple domain names: did you know that you can register multiple domain names that lead to the same place? Well, now you know. If your company name is John Smith and son, and your area of business is landscaping in the area of Miami, FL you can register and unlimited amount of domains based on your company name and keywords.
ie. johnsmithandson.com, floridalandscaping.com, landscapinginmiami.com (I know john smith is easy to remember but you get the point) Using keywords as a web site address makes it easier to remember and may increase your ranking on search engines.
