We have just published our new website Element X Interactive and we realize the being so new to the online world we are going to need to employ some web marketing fast in order to get our business moving. A friend of mine who is in the web marketing field recommended a few thing I must do fast. This is great because we would be targeting people who are interested in what we sell, Playstation 3 Games. We can pruchase e-mail lists from companies and send our prospective customers promotional material.
A blog can help us out because we can publish Playstation 3 specific material within the blog and include links to our website, this will give us back links to our website and eventually aid in increasing our web ranking.
Guerrilla marketing comes to mind in this category, this can be done very easily and the possibilities are limitless. Anyone, anywhere at anytime can be a prospective customer using this method.
A friend of mine filled me into this method. It seems that many people not only search for text when online but images as well, we could post images online relating to our product and include links back to our website, sounds interesting.
This brings us to the most powerful word in marketing “FREE”. Promoting free items will surely bring a storm of people to our website.
Ebay is the largest online marketplace in the world. We could sell our items on eBay and build a email list of our customers. We could even open a eBay store and point people to our website. These are just a few things we will decide to try early on in the optimization process of our website because we realize that SEO can take a long time. We aren’t search engine optimization experts but we figure doing something along with the basic SEO can’t hurt our website.
