Affiliate marketing is like having online 'allies' who are helping to promote your website, and in doing so are rewarded for sending new customers that increase sales on your website.
* If this new customer buys something, the affiliate is paid a percentage of your sale.
2. How does affiliate marketing make me money?
Really..with affiliate marketing there are two ways to make money and you can use them BOTH! (We highly recommend doing both!)
Option # 1: You advertise for other websites and when they make more sales because of the traffic you sent them, they pay you a percentage of their sale!

* You place other companies 'affiliate links or banners' on your website.
* People come to your site & click on your affiliate links and are directed to another website.
* If they buy a product there..then YOU get a commission of the sale.
Option # 2: You pay affiliates when they bring more sales to your website!
Details:
* You install an affiliate program on your website.
* Other people sign up to become YOUR affiliate.
* They now place YOUR website link onto their website and start directing traffic your way.
* You choose what commission you want to pay, and only pay if the people they send actually buy something!
3. How do I get started?
* If you want to market other websites and earn commissions, there are plenty of websites out there eager to have new affiliates. We recommend finding a company that you like their products and would like to market them on your site.
* If you want to have your OWN affiliate program so other people will advertise YOUR website, you will need an affiliate program which can be easily searched for using your favorite search engine.
