Peru (named in Quechua Piruw, and in Aymara Piruw) is officially the Republic of Peru. Peru is a country situated in the central and occidental part of South America, limited in the north with Ecuador and Colombia, and to the east with the Brazilian Amazon an Acre states. Its limits in the southeast with Bolivia, with Chile in the south, and in the west with the Pacific Ocean.
