As an owner of a PC, you would need to know a little more about it so when there are simple problems, you can work out on your own what is causing errors on your PC and save lots of money that you can use for other more important things.

One problem that you may encounter is when you get DLL error messages. A Dynamic Link Library (DLL) is a library containing information about the data. It forms part of your computer's system through the use of file extensions. DLL files are vital part of your computer's system and link or connect the programs and application to the windows operating system. When you click on a program to start it the DLL file goes back to your windows operating system and says that it needs to run this program and windows then runs the appropriate files to start the program.

Error messages are displayed when your computer encounters a missing, corrupt or incorrect version of the DLL file. You will have to pay attention to the message as it may give you the clue on what should be done. Furthermore, the error message may tell you that it occurred because a file is corrupted or something is missing. You can search your computer to find if the file is still there or is missing. If there is no file there are several step you can take.

#1- Sometimes you may have removed a DLL file by mistake. Check your recycle bin to see if it is still there and restore it.

#2- Install and uninstall programs properly to avoid problems do so from add and remove programs in the windows control panel. If you get an error after removing a program reinstall it. This will install the DLL file as well and then remove it again ensuring you do not remove the DLL file as well.

#3- Always scan files or programs before downloading and installing because infected files and programs may cause errors to happen. Be careful when deleting shared files as you may delete something important or needed by the system and then other programs will not work.

#4- If you still get DLL error messages after doing this download and run a system scanner and optimizer. This will scan your computer for updates, corrupt and missing DLL files and automatically download them from a database and stop any further errors on your computer
