How to solve Error Message “Resource Not Owned” in Windows

1. You need to click Start, select Settings, and then click Printers.
2. On the File menu, click Server Properties.
3. Click the Drivers tab and select HP driver in the installed printer drivers box that uses the Hpbfff2.dll file.
4. Click Remove, and then click OK.

NOTE: To determine which files a driver is using, click the driver in the Installed printer drivers box, and then click Properties. The Driver Properties dialog box lists the files used by the driver.

1. Reinstall the printer by using the drivers included on the Windows 2000 CD-ROM.
2. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each printer driver using the Hpbfff2.dll file.
3. Click Close.
