Nikon Capture NX with Windows 7

Introduction

Nikon Capture NX is a photo editing software that can do various photo enhancements which can be visible on the system. Its latest version is now compatible with new Windows 7. Users just have to place the Control Point on that area which should be edited. Then the color elements such as hue, saturation and brightness will be analyzed by the U Point Technology. There is a series of Control Point, which is as Color Control Points, the all-new Selection Control Points, White/Black/Neutral Control Points and Red-Eye Control Points. It is an application that can do full-scale digital image processing and editing in the simplest manner.

Features

It has many new features in its latest version. It has a distortion control that can reduce the pincushion and barrel distortion effects. It has a color management control that controls the colors of images. It supports NEF, TIFF and JPEG file formats. It has the feature of noise reduction which is based on the most advanced Nikon algorithms.

It can perform variety of functions like, color aberration control, d-lighting, image dust off, vignette control and fisheye-to-rectilinear image transformation. It can enhance many images with a feature of applying a series of adjustments to several images. It includes many selective tools like brush, lasso and marquee, gradient and fill/remove. It has the ability to show selected part of the image. It has an edit list that can help users in the modification of an image. It has the feature of image browser, with its help users can do labeling, sorting and editing of each image through its thumbnail. It has a U Point Technology that can easily select and isolate chosen areas of the image to be enhanced. Furthermore, this technology can do this without the use of masks, selections, or layers.

It is designed for a range of users, and is efficient for each of them. Those who have compact digital cameras can quickly enhance their JPEG pictures; eliminate any red-eye using the automatic red-eye correction tool. For professional and advanced photographers, it has powerful batch processing capabilities, advanced color management features, distortion correction enhancement.

Its latest version will work more efficiently with new Windows 7. Windows 7 requirements are not high It provides the highest quality RAW conversions from the Nikon camera and is fully integrated with all Nikon software such as, camera control pro 2, image authentication software, transfer and viewnx. It has customized workspaces, improved toolbar function and layout, improved edit list functionality, improved image resolution adjustments.

It has a simple slider adjustment, with its help one can easily open up shadows or recover blown-out highlights. Although highlight recovery is most effective for RAW files, but it can work with JPEG and TIFF files also. It has an auto-retouch brush that allows users to remove blemishes, dust and other distracting elements from photographs. After Windows 7 installation , this software can be installed with less effort.
