Of all the error messages that you get while using a computer, the most damaging of them all are the windows vista blue screen errors. Not only will these errors cause your computer to restart and make you lose any unsaved work you were doing, it also severely damages your computer. It's a good thing that there's a simple way you can fix the problem. Here's a brief explanation of the cause of the problem and how you can do something to fix it.

Blue screen errors or the blue screen of death as they are popularly known, are called fatal errors because of its severity. These errors often pop up when there are software issues in your computer, often a program that has a lot of damaged settings will make Windows unable to load it properly.

Here is how to fix this.

#1 If you notice that you're getting the blue screen of death every time you use a certain program then you should try uninstalling that program and reinstalling it afterwards. Often, simply uninstalling and reinstalling a problematic program is the solution to blue screen error problems.

#2 If you find that the blue screen of death randomly pops out then the problem might lie within Windows itself, most likely there is a problem with your registry. More often than not, the root cause of the blue screen error and why most computers run slow is due to errors in the registry.

The registry is the central database within Windows that contains all of the vital information and settings that your computer needs to properly function. It contains the information about what programs you have installed, what hardware you have connected, and even what wallpaper you're using. Every time you turn on your computer and load up Windows, the registry gets accessed.

Because the settings inside the registry are frequently accessed whenever you need to do something with the computer you cannot totally avoid damaging these settings. If the computer has a hard time reading a registry setting because it got corrupted, the computer will tend to slow down considerably, and if the errors get so worse that the settings cannot be read by Windows, your computer will restart and display the dreaded windows vista blue screen errors.

If you find that you're getting the blue screen of death often then you need to fix the errors in the registry using a system and registry scanner. This will scan windows vista and the registry and search for errors in a matter of minutes. After it has found the errors you can use the scanner  to repair the damaged files and get a windows vista blue screen error fix.
