Why I Use Ups

Why I use UPS you ask?  The overwhelming reason is their service.  We have a small wholesale gift business company and run it from our home.  When we first started we used the post office to ship and receive products etc.
This was a nightmare.

We had to travel to and from the post office.  Then we had to wait in line to see a cashier who was always grumpy.  They threw our packages around like they were basketballs.  We received damaged goods all the time using the post office.

Finally, we were fed up and decided to try UPS.  That was several years ago and we have never looked back.  The service we receive from UPS is fantastic.  We never have to leave our home to ship or receive product.

We have become very close to our route drivers.  They are real people who are very friendly and bend over backwards to help you.  It is a great feeling to know when we see that big brown truck that our shipping needs will be taken care of.

UPS has been a great shipping company for our small home based business.  We never have to worry about our products getting to our customers.  We know that our driver will take care of our packages.

The best thing about using UPS is that they provide shipping software that I use on my computer.  This software does everything for me.  It calculates the shipping charges and prints the labels for me.  It also schedules the package for pickup.  It is fantastic.  I can get shipping reports in several different categories.

The fact that UPS provides this shipping software for free is fantastic.  It integrates into my business and Lotus software flawlessly.  We have gotten to know our drivers very well.  We are on a first name basis with them and have come to know them well.

This great customer service is the main reason we use UPS as our package shipping service.  Everything is done right there from his truck.  I do not need to leave the house.  If I am looking for something that is time critical the driver will watch for it for me and deliver me first on his route.

You can’t quantify how much that is worth in time and money.  It is priceless customer service.  Over the years we have tried all of the big shipping companies and the post office.  UPS has been the best by far.  No one compares to them.

The one on one customer service we receive makes UPS the absolute best shipping company.  The fact that UPS would provide our small company free software to use also makes them the best in my book.  The software alone would cost hundreds of dollars.  They provided it for free.

UPS also provided free support for their software.  I spent hours on the phone with a support person helping me get the software up and running.  They were very patient and always there when I needed them.  This free support was worth its weight in gold.  It was provided for free.

This free training and support has helped me streamline my package shipping.  It has saved me a great deal of money.  I now pay for the exact amount in shipping.  No guessing.  The software provides all the information you need.  It will also allow you to print shipping reports and query the user database in several different ways.

I can print out shipping reports for the month, by customer, by date.  It is absolutely fantastic.  If you have any shipping needs on a regular basis I highly recommend UPS.  You will not be disappointed.  UPS will be there with you every step of the way.  It is perfect for any small, medium, and large scale business.
