Gifts for the Baby Who Has Everything

What are the best gifts for the baby who has everything? What gift do you buy for newborn babies who already have everything they need? Friends with large families may have all they need for a new baby. The large items are all taken care of, and they have more clothes than any one baby can wear. Here are suggestions:

Embroidered items: A sweet little dress or a cool shirt with the baby’s name embroidered on it. Embroidered hats, diaper covers, blankets, etc. make it a personal gift.

Engraved items: Have gifts engraved for future keepsakes and memories. Frames, brushes, banks, spoons, jewelry boxes, keepsake boxes, cups and mugs are all wonderful gifts.

Photo Albums: Engrave, or personalize a photo album with the baby’s name and birth date. Plan ahead of time, and make a point to take multiple photos after the baby is born, and put these photos in the album. The very busy parents will greatly appreciate it. Here are some ideas of photos to take:

* The baby alone, sleeping, awake, crying, smiling, etc.
* Take one of the baby with each sibling
* Take one of all the kids together
* One of the whole family
* One with baby and daddy
* One with baby and mommy
* One with baby and parents
* Baby and Grandparents, and so on

Wall Art: Personalize a canvas painting with the baby’s name, or nickname.

Growth Chart: A personalized growth chart is something the family will enjoy. It is a wonderful method of keeping a record of the child’s growth for many years.

Jewelry: Personalized jewelry is always very sweet for little girls.

Family interest gifts:

If the family enjoys athletics, buy the little one his first glove, baseball, bat, basketball, golf club, etc. Personalize these miniature versions with the little slugger’s name. A baby girl may have her name on a softball, soccer ball, cheerleader or gymnastic uniform.

If mommy and daddy are jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts, have a puzzle made with the baby’s name and birth date that they can put together. What a great keepsake!

For the firefighter, nurse, doctor, mail carrier, construction worker, etc. personalize a miniature version of something that pertains to their career: firefighter’s hat, stethoscope, hardhat.

The parents will greatly appreciate any item personalized for the new baby, and the child will have a keepsake forever.
