Since the early 1990s, the childcare market has been changing rapidly due in no short part to the governments ever evolving National Childcare Strategy. Lifestyle changes have lead to the provision of full daycare and after school care clubs and parents are left with an immense array of early years’ care options. But how do parents decide what is best for their child?
There are those who continue to doubt the benefits of early year’s education citing “How do they learn when all they do is play?” They label pre-schooling as high priced “day care” and wondering whether it is “worth it?”
And to add more weight to the argument, there has also been research that has proven that early learning is worth it as long as it is quality education.
The repetition of these kinds of positive early interactions actually helps the brain reinforce the existing connections and make new ones.
Another way is during free play/ work time as children interact with one another. As they communication, whether through beginning language or more sophisticated use of words, the neurons in their brains are making more connections, critical for reinforcing learning.
So what of the parents who understand the benefits of early year’s education, but are looking to set up their own business?
Franchising opportunities around children’s services and child development classes can be the ideal choice. From development of baby franchise classes to education and French or Spanish language tuition for children, there are many exciting franchise opportunities.
Many of these children’s franchises may be run as a part time franchise opportunity, suiting mums who want a home business, giving the flexible franchise business that can work around their own children and family circumstances. Children and baby franchises are often based around music and movement, helping children to develop and sue their senses in a fun and friendly environment that brings mums and children together.
Laura Payne, Marketing Manager of FemaleFranchise.co.uk, a site dedicated franchise resource for women considering starting their own business through franchising says: “The change in the economy, coupled with parental pressures has meant more women are looking for business opportunities that have to fit into their family commitments. Franchising gives them the ideal solution as they can work part time or in the evenings around their families.”
Laura continues: “Running a child development franchise can give women to opportunity to spend time with their children as they develop and invest in their own future for once the children get older.”
