The Joy's of becoming a Parent!

Becoming a parent is simultaneously one of the most beautiful and scariest moments that a woman will most like encounter in her life, which is why so many mothers understand the joys of becoming a parent is some thing that they wouldn't trade for all of the riches of the world.

Why? The answer is very simple, a gorgeous healthy baby of her own is more than enough treasure to last a life time!

The myriad of feelings that instantaneously flood a woman's body and invade her mind, the very moment that she finds out she is pregnant are truly nothing short of over whelming to say the least. She is truly ecstatic, but then a tinge of worry creeps in as well because she has so many concerns and questions. Questions about pregnancy, giving birth, babies and if she has what it takes to be a good mum. There are also all of the issues regarding her relationship with the father of the baby which come to the forefront now that she is pregnant.

The joys of becoming a Parent is as numerous as the immeasurable gifts that are born along with the happy news of expecting a baby. You cannot even begin to imagine how much love you will feel for that little infant when you finally give birth to a brand new tiny human being that is such a special part of you. From the moment that you tenderly and lovingly caress your newborn's fragile finger-tips and gaze lovingly at this sweet little bundle of joy; you are truly mesmerized by this amazingly perfect little miracle that you magically created and then gave birth to.

Your journey from a woman into motherhood is complete. You now feel whole. You now understand the marvelously simple truth that is behind the joys of becoming a parent, just as your own mother whispered you would; when you first announced to her that you were pregnant. Understanding the intricate delicacies that are the love and bond that constantly circulate between mother and child is one of the true joys of  becoming a parent, but especially true of those that experience motherhood for the very first time.

What about the second, or third or subsequent births of any new children? Are the joys of becoming a parent as strong next time around? As a mother of four wonderful children I am not surprised at how much love I have for each of them and I can honestly say that I love them all equally. I could not make a choice if I had to only select one of them to love. This is the real joy of becoming a parent as there is no other bond as strong as that between parent and child.

Remarkably, despite how many children a mother may give birth to; she will always love each child as if he/she were the only one. It's true that before the birth of my second child I couldn't fathom how I would ever be able to split my feelings between them; but miraculously I didn't have to split anything as I just loved them both equaly.

As I mature in the role of motherhood my feelings have changed as I believe one of the prevalent lasting joys of becoming a parent is the unconditional love that continues to grow for each and every one of my children.

Sometimes, they are just shy, and as the year progresses, they take steps to further their involvement. In other cases, their parents discourage them from getting dirty, and teach their children to be observers rather than participants.
