Tired Because Your Baby Doesn't Sleep At Night?

Are you a new mom or dad? Do you just love having a new baby in the house? Is parenthood just the best thing that ever happened to you?

Well sometimes yes, and sometimes no. There are often reasons why new parents feel that having a new baby in the house isn't quite all it's supposed to be. The major reason why parents can feel like that is this:

Baby won't sleep at night. He or she cries all the time, won't settle and keeps everyone else in the house awake the whole night through.

This can be a particularly stressful problem to deal with. Everyone needs their sleep. You do, your entire family does.

Even the baby can be affected, because everyone in the family is tired and stressed out.

Perhaps you're not quite as good a mom as you had hoped to be because you're always so tired. Maybe your sex life is falling apart, perhaps it's died completely and this is causing stress in your relationship.

Maybe your relationship which needs to be strong isn't so strong any more, you're both just so tired.

And it's not just you and your partner that suffer when a baby isn't sleeping well. If you've got other children in the house they may well be suffering too. Younger children sleep through pretty much everything, but if you have a teenager around who, say, is at the stage of schooling where they need to do well, work hard and be alert they too may be suffering from a lack of sleep caused by a new baby that won't sleep.

In short, having a new baby that doesn't sleep at night is a problem that you need to tackle. You just can't let it go on and on, firstly because of the damage it can do to family relationships, and secondly because your baby too needs to sleep well at night, apart from feeding, and your baby will suffer if he or she can't sleep.

So what do you do? Is there a solution to a baby that won't sleep? Are you and your family doomed to weeks, months or even years of losing sleep?

The good news is that there is a solution, and often it takes only some small changes to your normal routine to get your baby sleeping well. There are some simple solutions that you may never even think of, and some home remedies that can be extremely effective.

The first thing you ought to do is to visit your doctor, as there are medical conditions that can cause sleeplessness, so these ought to be ruled out. But there are also some simple home remedies that can make a big difference in many cases, and these can be easy to implement and inexpensive.

So it isn't a life sentence if baby won't sleep at night. There are some simple home remedies that can tackle the problem. You just need to get onto the problem, don't ignore it, and start solving it.
