Credit score meaning or simply understanding why your credit rating is good or bad is a very hot topic at the moment. As many struggle through the current financial downturn with banks drastically increasing the requirements for offering credit it is understandable why this topic is so popular. Your credit score is simply a unique figure each lender who is looking at your credit report assigns you.
There is no fixed method of how they assign your points. For reference though it is fair to say they add points for past credit that has been paid off on time and reduce points for any defaults. If this is the case you should get these removed as soon as possible
