If you have noticed, financially confident individuals are in control of their money. By laying a foundation on how to control your money, you can be sure of realizing financial freedom and live a confident life style. In addition, being able to plan and control your expenditure is the commencement of wealth creation.
Let me mention that having a good financial plan will not necessarily guarantee you success; you also need to consistently execute your plan in order to realize financial independence. However, as I earlier stated, you should not allow money to dictate your life. Most people's dilemma is how to be charge of their finances.
Allow me to pose a question which will help you know whether you are in control of your money or not, "How much of your last month's earnings can you account for?" People who have managed to amass wealth have one thing in common; they are in control of their income and expenditure.
You need to direct your money to go where you want it to go and not the other way round. Controlling your income means establishing a steady source of revenue which you have absolute charge of. Two of the common sources of income are employment and business/investment.
It does not matter how much you earn, whether you are a business man or employed. Neither does having a high financial 'IQ" guarantee you financial freedom. But rather the ability to spend a small amount of what you earn monthly and save another fraction is a sure path to wealth creation. Today, draw a strategic financial plan and take decisive steps to implement the same and you will be financially free.
