As it was stated above, BiOrbs have started to increase in popularity. There are a number of different reasons for this increase in popularity. One of the most common reasons is size. BiOrbs do come in a number of different sizes, but most are fairly small. In fact, it not uncommon to find Biorb aquariums that are four gallons, eight gallons, nine gallons, or even sixteen gallons in size. In most cases, you will find that sixteen gallon tanks are considered "Mego BiOrbs." In addition to their small size, the beauty of a BiOrb is another one of the reasons why they are so popular. BiOrbs are small, but sleek and modernly designed aquariums. That is why they look great just about anywhere, whether it be in a home or in an office.
When it comes to buying a BiOrb and BiOrb supplies there is good news. That good news is that a number of your needed supplies come with most BiOrbs. Although it is typically not advertised that you are buying a BiOrb aquarium kit, you are in most cases. When searching for a BiOrb to purchase, you will find that many BiOrbs come with built in filtration systems and light fixtures. In fact, that is why BiOrbs are often referred to as one of the easiest types of fish tanks to purchase; little or no additional fish tank supplies are needed. Although you may not need to purchase additional fish tank supplies, equipment wise, you may have to purchase replacement parts or you may be looking for aquarium décor.
Speaking of aquarium replacement supplies, there are only a limited number of supplies that you may need to purchase. That is why many BiOrbs come with warranties; because they are quality and dependable products. If you do need to purchase any equipment supplies, whether they are replacement or not, you may need to purchase BiOrb light bulbs, a BiOrb tropical heater pack, or an adapter for your BiOrb air pump, which is often included in most BiOrb packages. In addition to BiOrb supplies that can also be considered equipment, you may also want to purchase a few BiOrb accessories. Accessories are different from supplies because they, in most cases, are only considered optional. When it comes to BiOrb accessories, one of the most commonly purchased items is aquarium décor. Due to the small size and shape of a BiOrb, you are typically limited on the type of décor you can buy for BiOrbs. In most cases, only artificial BiOrb plants and fish tank stones are used. If and when you choose to buy artificial BiOrb plants, it is important that you carefully review the artificial plants that are available, as most come in a number of different sizes. The size you that choose should depend the size of your BiOrb.
In addition to the above mentioned BiOrb supplies and accessories, you may also want to examine BiOrb service kits. BiOrb service kits are sold by a large number of fish tank suppliers. Commonly included in a BiOrb service kit are a collection of water preparation chemicals, algae cleaning clothes, and a replacement filter for your filtration system. Additional supplies may also be included, but it tends to depend on which type of BiOrb kit you are purchasing or where you are purchasing that kit from.
Although it may seem as if you have a lot to buy, in addition to a BiOrb aquarium, there really isn't that much. As previously mentioned, many of the above mentioned BiOrb aquarium supplies are optional.
