Because I've not found my cat to be interested in doing what I need, I believed it might not even be worthwhile to try to train my cat. I have done some research lately, though, telling me about cats and pussy coaching, and I've learnt to my amazement that cats can be taught tricks quite simply. A cat will probably really enjoy performing the tricks. The structure and interaction that pussy tricks provide will give your pussy welcome mental and physical exercise. Cats are avid for the chance to develop their intellectual capacities. As you learn to educate your pussy tricks, you will also help with behavioral problems. As you learn to teach your cat tricks, you can also learn how to discipline or inspire positive behavior in your cat. Researching cat training, I have learned that there are a number of tricks that you can teach your cat. The trick to teaching your pussy is using behaviors that your cat already does, or looking for goals that are close to your pussy's behaviour. You'll be shaping your pussies behaviour using baby steps. You may gradually train your pussy to do the behavior you're looking for. This could help you to keep from getting frustrate. These small steps are also controllable for your cat. Trying to seriously change a cat's behavior would only be maddening and nearly impossible for you and your pussy. Another important thing to recollect when coaching your pussy is that your pussy will do the required behaviour for a reward. If your cat has to stop to eat a massive, food reward, then it will take longer between repetitions of the action. You would like to repeat the action frequently and quickly in a small amount of time to strengthen the organisation between the action, your command, and the reward. Taking too much time between repetitions will create weaker associations. Sometimes rather than rewarding your moggy, you'll be luring your pussy to a desired action. A cat will naturally bat at something in front of him. If you move the food so that your cat engages in a waving motion, you will be teaching your moggy the way to wave.
