Design A Lap Pool To Suit Your Home Architecture
A lap pool, apart from the diverse recreational and fitness benefits it provides, can also be an aesthetic enhancement to your home. The clean, rectangular lines of a lap pool fit right into a home whose design is minimalistic, with long lines and lots of space to spare.
A lap pool does not have to be purely functional at the expense of aesthetic value. The art of good home lap pool design involves choice of proper materials, accessories, colors and landscape effects to enhance the beauty of both house and pool once the latter is set up.
Good home lap pool design will always blend in aesthetics with functionality, resulting in a structure that is good for swimming lengths, dabbling your feet in, or just sitting beside while you enjoy the view.

While light blue is the most conventional shade, a darker blue - cobalt royal for example - lends a dramatic touch of elegance to the ensemble. All in all, a good home lap pool design combines beauty and utility, utilizing the space available perfectly and making the pool appear a necessary part of the original home plan, without which the home will start feeling incomplete.
