• Remember that not all animals of the same species have the same personalities – just ask any dog owner. Understanding your pet’s personality is an important part of pet care.
• Health and immunization is an important part of pet care. Ensure that your pet visits the veterinarian regularly and is given all the immunizations that are needed.
• Many pets have special grooming needs – pay attention to them.
• Pet with insufficient companionship can get bored and depressed which often results in bad behavior. Before punishing your pet for having done something wrong, see if you are any role to play in the cause of this behavior.
