The Importance Of Spaying Your Animal To Avoid Female Dog Heat Symptoms

If you wish to avoid all of the hassle of a dog that is going through female dog heat symptoms you should consider spaying your animal immediately. While some people believe that you should only spay a female dog after they have gone through their first heat cycle, others don't see any harm in avoiding the process altogether and getting her spayed young.

There are many benefits to spaying your female dog aside from the heat cycle. Spaying a dog will help them to live a long and healthy life. Veterinarians have said that if you spay your female dog before her first heat cycle she will have virtually no chance of developing mammary cancer during her lifetime. If you wait you will increase her chance to fewer than ten percent after one heat cycle. The risk increases the longer you wait. However, you should get your dog spayed immediately no matter how many cycles she has gone through.

Your female dog will also be at a greater risk for ovarian cancer during her lifetime if she is not spayed young. The symptoms of ovarian cancer are difficult to detect from the female dog heat symptoms and might go undetected until it is too late. A surgery that is similar to a spay will need to be performed, but it is much more complicated once the cancer is spreading.

There are many other health concerns that can be avoided by spaying your female dog before she experiences female dog heat symptoms. Diabetes, uterine infections and wandering away from home are just some of the things that can be avoided by spaying your beloved pet. There are also a great many risks to your dog that come along with pregnancy. There are still dogs, despite the best veterinary care that become ill and die during pregnancy and birthing.

There are millions of unwanted animals that flood the Humane Society across the country every year. You can do your part by making sure you spay your female dog before they experience female dog heat symptoms. The Humane Society recommends getting your animal spayed or neutered before the first signs of symptoms. The unwanted animals live lives of neglect and pain because they are not welcomed into homes by loving families. It is in everyone's interest to do the humane thing and keep these animals from reproducing without control. The least of the problems is dealing with the female dog heat symptoms.

After my last comment, I'm sure it won't get published. But you must admit you turn on the tv late at night you see these poor hungry children dying because they have no food no water no shelter no shoes nothing.

Ignoring all of the dangers of spaying your pet, EVERYONE always forgets that the heat cycle in a dog is natural. To stop something natural will have reverse effects especially since dogs have been breeding since the exsistance of them, all life forms have.

But what I think is even more funny is how wasteful, selfish, we all are. Here we go we see a healthy animal in the shelter, but he doesn't get adopted so he gets thrown in the fire. Honestly i've never seen anything more wasteful then that.

I understand euthinizing sick animals, yes. But healthy ones? HELL NO!
In the wild the strongest survive. To survive would be to be healthy. So lets say these healthy animals that are "OMG SO OUT OF CONTROL with their population" are given to those less fortunate.

There are people in this world that DO NOT WASTE!
They have no shoes, no clothing, no shelters, no food, no water, nothing. I look at a dog/cat. Instead of just killing them, give them a chance to do something with their life. Be merciful, but perhaps why not use these animals that are 'doomed' anyway to save the lives of our brothers and sisters. Healthy animals, that can be skinned, the meat used for food, the bones for tools, the skin for clothing.

Irrisponsible breeding is the fault of the person who had the animal. If that animal got out to begin with, and doesn't even bother to look back at you. It usually means 'more' then. OH no im horny I don't want to talk to you.

You can always train your animals, to 'leave it'. By not permitting social calls, and keeping him/her entertained. Breast cancer in dogs, is due to irrsponsible breeding for sales, and unhealthy food. Know why its the number one cause of animal death?

Most animal pet foods are full of hormones and nasty byproducts, that you yourself wouldn't even be able to 'hold' without gagging.

Whats even worse is that people tell you fix your pets, because of a population control issue. I can name several countries that eat CAT/DOG/RABBIT/SNAKE/FERRETS/BIRDS/ETC. Because that is what is 'available' to them, and how they live. Then you go turn around and put these animals down, so called 'burn their bodies' -cough- leaving no remains. Its wasteful. Here thousands of people are dying due to lack of food/shelter/clothing. And your tossing pets into the flame to burn away. Extremely wasteful.

Save lives, be a responsible pet owner, control your pet don't let it wonder around(I know some of you who have pets don't give a rats tail if it bites the kid down the street), and don't let it breed unauthorized.

I see two problems that can be solved with 1 solution, PETA you know if you read this I really don't care what you say, I am a serious lover of animals. But you should agree that if they are going to just put the animals down anyway why not use it to save a life of that little kid crying on tv because he doesn't have food/clothing/or shelter.

You can still be merciful, doing this. You DO NOT need to fill up a crate with animals throw em in the back of the truck and not care what happens to them. Anyway this is my solution to the 2 biggest problems in this world.

Another solution is to stop trying to pass more laws on how many pets a person can have. If the animals are taken care of, food, shelter, health wise, and they are happy. If people can afford to own 15-30dogs/cats and have a 24acre ranch god damn it don't deprive them of this! Stop with the silly breedism too, oh you can't have a pit a rot or another type of guard dog because it might 'bite me'. With all the violence in the world today, due to living conditions, some people feel safer having these pets. They know how possessive they are, they feel comfortable with the breed, and they have experience hell, I thought it was a free country?

I've heard so many stories that are just completely bull, a guy breaks into your house stuffs his pocket full of your crap and your pit/rot attacks the burgler. Then that burgler turning around to sew and win the case? WTF?!

People wonder why the world laughs at americans. Open your eyes people. Look at the way we live, we had problem the stupidest people sitting front row at the whitehouse surrounding themselves with more idiots that just go 'mmhmmm yup yup' to every amature idea that pops into their head.

Half the world is dying from starvation lets be wasteful! KILL UNWANTED ANIMALS!

I think spaying an animal just because of population controls is very silly, there are HUGE health risks in spaying an animal. I think people should put more effort in to paying attention to their pets rather then just listening to every person on the block.

If you actually train your pet, and take care of them, watch them, and don't let them mingle with dogs during their heat cycle then you should be fine. Its really funny as the 'healthiest dogs' that you see on tv competing for events etc are NOT fixed.

There are several reasons why they do not get fixed, including hip displasia(as well as other bone related problems), overweight (and overweight health related problems). They are also known to grow 'larger' then the correct size, Urinary problems,

One thing you should remember, EVERY ANIMAL INCLUDING HUMANS MATE!
We are born we breed we overpopulate the earth. Then we turn around and put a bunch of drugs in our food etc. Because we need more food to feed humans.

Some countries they eat dog, they eat cat. These countries often don't have other types of resources for food. If there was such a huge problem with population, there are several means of fixing it. Including but not limited to:

Food,,
Stop restricting 'good' pet owners from owning multipule pets,
(there are like 3-4different bills that they are trying to pass that will limit the amount of pets we own, example say you have a nice home, 3-4cats, maybe 3-4dogs a couple of horses, a few birds, and goldfish. YOUR BREAKING THE LAW!)

Most states only permit a maximum of 10animals even in homes that take care of their animals keeping them happy and healthy. THen they turn around and try and say no your not allowed to have this type of pet, or that type of pet. Example they want to round up every pit bull, rott, and other dog that is used for 'protection'. Even the sweetest ones and euthinize them.

Some people feel safer with these animals, Our government seeks to take them away.

If the population control is so out of hand, I can name several hundred countries that the 'pets' can be shipped to for 'food' as most dogs/cats are not pumped full of hormones, and other crap.

I can turn around and promise you, Instead of euthinizing animals because they are unadoptable, Ship them to a country with no food, kill them mercifully.

Not only with that solutions that I have spoken would reduce the number of 'unwanted animals', it would also save millions of lives because food would be available to these people.

BTW, I was wondering.. after you put these dogs down round up the bodies, you honestly cannot fool me into believing you just burn them. With absolutely 'nothing' left but ash, most of the time you need 'ACID' or something else strong enough to decay the bones.. Looking at the records of death by fire, there is always the 'remains' left.
