Kids Take The Funniest Pictures

Kids take the funniest pictures. We have three kids aged between five and twelve. I don't know how they manage to do it but they seem to be able to take far funnier pictures than I do.

Now I'm one of those guys who would love to be great at photography, but never quite seems to be able to do it. Sure, I can appreciate everything that it fantastic about a good photo: from the composition to the lighting and the choice of lens. I have a nice little SLR and a couple of decent quality lenses. I spend ages reading up on how to be a better photographer. I'm even contemplating doing a course or two.

But somehow our kids manage to head off with little idea about the art and science of photography and manage to capture these wonderful images. To make matters even worse, they can still get good quality pictures using a disposable camera!

We bought a few of those disposable cameras that you can take into the water when we last went on vacation, and the kids loved using them. Some of our best pictures of that whole trip are the ones taken when we are all in the sea. The sky and water look amazing. The light is refracting through the spray of the sea and everyone is smiling and looking so full of life and energy.

Our five year old managed to get a great action shot with that same camera of the other two kids jumping into the pool. They are half into the water and a whole load of splash is heading straight for the camera. Of course he managed to use up pretty much that whole camera's film just to get that one shot, but he managed it.

We got all the pictures developed onto a CD when we got home so that we can keep them all for years to come. Our youngest has his action shot proudly enlarged and mounted on his bedroom wall. He likes telling the story of how he's a better photographer than his dad!

I'd love for them all to get into photography someday as they sure do have a real talent for it.

The other option is wood picture frame moulding. This comes in a wide variety of types of wood, as well as colorations available through stains and paints, so there is more potential for adding a colorful addition to your artwork with this option. Wood picture frame moulding also blends in well with casual home decor, unlike metal frames, which may appear a little modern in country or rustic types of interior design styles.
