Liposuction is a commonly carried out and safe procedure; however complications can accompany any surgery. Dimpling effects or a lumpiness in the skin are just some of the problems patients have reported, whilst others have had experience a slight numbness in the treated area. Others have experienced numbness, scarring, discoloration, or sagging skin in the treated area. Always ensure you know all the risks when considering surgery and any side effects. Your surgeon should be able to explain any risks that could occur. Even though liposuction will get rid of fatty tissue for you, you must have a realistic expectation of your body type and not go too far trying to perfect it.
