A Shattered Night

a bright night

just the perfect timing

so sublime

for one word to escape from the thumping of the pressurized heart

for one note to complete the majestic piece

for one beat to create such vestige of happiness

for one action to signal the rolling of the drums

for one moon to bless the starry sky

for one night to stay within memory

that night, lit for midnight solemnity

throughout the night

his spirit seeking for an answer

for a 3-letter word to signify mirthful love

the greatest reply of all

yes

twas just the excitement

for the heart to speak

the same night

for one hopeful soul to stop dreaming

it could've been the best moments

of his life

but how melancholy it had become

I remember

The sonnets and plays of William Shakespeare are arguably some of the most inspirational in the world, but when the Bard needed inspiration of his own he turned to marijuana seeds.

A fragile pistillum sways to conceal the sperms in pestle. Unilaterally fired salvos were increasing. After the dig, bodies in the debris were popping up daily.

Dreams Aimed: a Sacrifice

By: Michael Giles | 21/01/2008 | Writing
...Till now, when I had been wondering how I could've done it right, without the alarming nuisance of the ticking clock, without the waste of an hour for my soul and body to reach out and squeeze a ring-a-bell rhythm, and without that speech heard-spoken. I just felt how ceremonious it could have been. Buzzing withing your sense of hearing all the time. But, somehow I found out how I grieve for those minutes of emancipated talk.

A Story of Fiction: Sentiments of a 13-year Old

By: Michael Giles | 21/01/2008 | Fiction
...I begged that I may feel NOW as my past, wherein I could jive with them, click some shots, sit stuck amidst the traffic, crack those jokes, play with the music in marsh blending, watch the movies flicker, drop the compunctions, evade the snubs, derive an imbroglio, and imbue the ecstasy of life.

Left Unbearably Stuck, Missing Some Points

By: Michael Giles | 19/01/2008 | Home & Family
...I never mentioned life in optimism when I left, for I've been in a half-paced thinking. I was reigned by the gloomy side of life. Dislocated from that distinct sense of place, I reminisce those instances of my life. It's not that easy to target its essence. Sometimes, I pause for a moment, at a point where I drown into loneliness. I carry this puzzling world all by myself.

It's not That Hard to Imagine
