exclusive thou beeth
to this season of merriment
whilst inclusive to all beings
of nature kind and true
weather coming from
friends of nobility or
relatives to heart
Hail ye, decorative Christmas present
encased in box wrapped by paper
so elegant of colors
red as the suit worn by the Santa of gifts
white as be the flakes that descend
from sky in countries of cold
all too aware of land covered in snow
that caps mountains above
green as trees
under which ye be
put to rest till day of overture
tied by ribbon
as neatly in a bow
that maketh ye a treat to behold

so much be in thine significance
for in all thou art of importance
yet not for gold spent on ye
but sentiments invested
in thine choice
all to make cheer
for one who be chosen
to receive of thine cache

who be boy or lass

but splurges feelings
of goodness from
thine giver to taker

so high like hope
