I know you are so near
Yet so far to touch and embrace dear,
I feel bad because you are sad.
On my struggle everyday, trying to say
What my heart keep on telling me so -
when you are away.
Dreams visit me at night, that you hold me so tight.
I don't want to open my eyes -
I don't want you to disappear on my illusions' sight.
Perhaps I'm a fool letting you come home.
For time is no longer the same
When you were still home with me -
Now I know your heart does not belong to me.
But God knows how important you are to me.
Days are long, thinking - where did I get wrong?
Why are you so cruel and senseless -
Well - - this is my destiny, people are not perfect.
We always succum to mistakes.
Now I am open for forgiveness -
With an open eyes of reality,
that you are no longer the man of my dreams -
but a man of my reality.
Where will I go now?
Both of us touch the ground -
Seeing the real things in us -
I'm willing to give you space -
As you have been asking previous days,
Somehow childish! but it must be such.
Giving both of us a lifesavers to cope with these odds,
Never compromising our self-dignity.
The more love and time I gave -
The more I see our differences -
I want to share with you wonderful moments,
never an awful one.
Analyzing what's wrong with myself -
I must accept that life is a juggle of trials.
I must give myself a chance to grow.
Never throw my self-esteem.
As I ponder alone in that garden of flowers.
How I envy the bees and butterflies,
who kissed the lovely sweet roses at my side.
The birds that fly in twos.
Never stopped caring and kissing each other.
My thoughts flown into the space of nowhere.
The only thing had left in me -
My happy thoughts, that once - - I had loved you - -
They way I'd done ......
I'll set you FREE.
