First Kiss & Love to My Husband

First Kiss

Long after we met
Still standing in forever
Our kindred spirits released
Beyond our wildest desires

To find love alone together
For I found you there
In nights glow lights
Full of moon beams

Shed of inhibitions
With no one to see
I kissed you secretly
Under the naked tree

Webbed in shadows
Embraced yet still free
For I found you there
In the warmth of the eve

Without a summer breeze
To be dancing in the droplets
Of Nectar sweet as a honey bee
Subtle light and free

To fly with you in dreams
Relished natures fantasy
Will blush my heart
When our lips touch

For I found you there

Love To My Husband

I am drawn to you like
The stars to the midnight skies
The Earth to the burning sun
Water to thirsting flowers

I am comfortable with you like
An old pair of boots
A faded pair of jeans
My favorite sweater and scarf

I am at peace with you like
Sitting in a boat in the middle of a lake
Taking a walk in silence in the country
Listening to rain drops fall in the dark of night

I am alive with you like
The laughter that is uncontrollable
The heart that goes thump, thump, thump
Running through wildflowers in the wilderness

Every ounce of my being
Mind, body and soul are riveted by you
I am alive with you, free with you, comfortable with you

I love you

I am kind, compassionate, a good listener, a loving mother, and very spiritual. I am enjoying life in my forties and realizing my life purpose and dreams. During the journey...I am focusing on dreams, goals and passions that I have not fulfilled. I have written over sixty poems and just picked up my pen after two years. To my amazement, it was like I never left my pen or passion. Words started to fly onto the paper, dance and come to life.

"Writing to me is as essential as Breathing!"

Build the action and suspense in the story and engage the interest of the reader till the climax. The conclusion or the climax of the story is the right place for you to tie all the loose ends together. The perfect end is like the ribbon that is tied around a gift with great flourish.

What to Keep in Mind when you write Short Stories Online

By: Mikal Jhonson | 09/07/2009
While a word count is essential when you write your story online, don’t focus too much on it. It may stunt the story and your natural style of writing. Consider the word count only when you’ve finished the first draft and you are starting to edit it.

What to Avoid when you write a Story Online

By: Mikal Jhonson | 09/07/2009
Online stories are different from news stories. They go beyond just dry rendition of facts and events. Make your stories compelling so that your readers are hooked on to it. They should not only read the story, but be able to visualize it with dazzling clarity - like it was actually happening in front of their eyes.

Tips to Make Online Story Writing Easy

When writing your online life story, choose short sentences over long-winded, protracted ones. That helps to speed up the pace of the story. With too many long sentences, the reader might get too bored and feel like giving up half way.
