Remember Me

This is it

My daughter Danette, Granddaughter Sydney (2) and I stop by Gary Indiana; I want to place flowers at the Jackson’s home where it all began for the Jackson’s family. As we got closer to the street there were people taking picture putting flowers, cards, pictures, stuff animals and more. As we began to talk to the crowd of people some of them were from as far as France and Australia.

Sharing stories with the people I remember when my youngest daughter Danette was 2 year old with her brother Leroy Jr and Sister Malinda. Danette now 30 something went to see Michael and his brothers perform as the Jackson’s 5.

Their father stool in the line for 5-6 hours to make sure he got their tickets.  Wearing their red and black jackets with the one white glove Leroy Jr. and Malinda enjoyed the show. Just five years ago I gave their jackets and gloves to Goodwill.

Now I wish I have kept their outfits.  To the Jackson‘s Family I pray that you find out what happen to your son and brother.  I understand the pain I lost my son Leroy Jr. at the age of 38 he left me with 3 wonderful grand kids Derrick, Leroy III and Shay.  Know that the world is praying for your family.  Be Bless

I wrote this poem This is it to remember Michael Jackson

When the hourglass of time comes to an end

And I shall hear my creator whisper…. “My child, this is it”

Soul takes flight to its eternal place of rest;

Will I have given it my best?

This is it ….
Have I been the best person I can be?

This is it….

Have I loved the unlovable as, I should?

This is it…

Did my kind words change someone’s life or direction?

This is it….

Did I do what I was born to do?

This is it….

When I saw a crying soul did I comfort it?

This is it….

Did I love myself as, I should?

This is it….

Did I caress myself as, I should?

This is it…

Did I respect myself and others as, I should?

This is it….

Did I check myself as, I should?

This is it….

How will my family, friends, and others remember me?

This is it….

CROSSING

By: Satish Verma | 21/11/2009
am not getting the signals of fire, sparks or flames. Only smoke on the mirror. It was becoming a murder, discarding the clay, terracotta, color in Indian summer. A sensuous dance begins, on the mobiles. The portfolio contains the numbers of streets for total annihilation so the visual footprints will disappear. The mathematical progress of genes halts. Million fingers will write history of wailing waves, frightened

BLUE SKY

The naked darkness will nurse the roses to rest on the barrel of a gun. Civil war will start any day.

REMEMBRANCE

A sexual abuse of a quaint flower aborts the fruit. This year we will go hungry.
