The once powerful juggernaut that was invincible and had the 2008 Democratic primary locked up (a year ago) is now trying to do everything to even get a mention in the news- of any sort. Hillary Clinton is trying to muscle her way back into the political dialogue this weekend after being yanked off the stage by a verbal battle over foreign policy between GOP heavyweights and Barack Obama.
Defeat is hard to take, especially when you're a Clinton!
On the day Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton was endorsed by the governor of North Carolina, a supporter gave her a three-foot-long balloon replica of herself, complete with blond hair, black pantsuit and wide pink smile, which Mrs. Clinton promptly took on her plane and laughingly showed off to reporters.
On Thursday, little more than two weeks later, the doll lay on the sofa by her seat on the plane, shriveled and deflated. With her candidacy running out of time — and perhaps air — the Clinton campaign has taken on a distinctly subdued mood.
Even Rasmussen has quit tracking her numbers. Hillary who? :-(
“You’ve seen all those folks on TV. They keep telling me to quit,” she said in Loretto, Ky., Saturday. “Well, I don’t know, maybe I was just raised with the kind of values you were raised (with). You don’t quit on people and you don’t quit until you finish what you started and you don’t quit on America.”
If that's the case, we only have two more weeks of Hillary since it's officially over June 3rd! At least John Edwards recognized it, the reality. Hopefully Hillary will too s the Hillary who question gets asked more and more.
