“If the mouth holds nothing good, it’s better to keep it shut, but if it holds anything of value; its contents must then be carefully delivered.” - Joseph Luxum
McCain jumped from strategy to strategy like a tiger in a cage. The maverick tried anything that works; from troops surge, to Aires, to Joe the Plumber, but finally what really worked, was to call Mr. Elect to congratulate him.
The congratulations were honest, but anything before that was white wool strewn over the eyes of those that saw too many colors.
Congratulations—for a fantastically ran campaign—are symbolic of things yet to come. The same man can deliver again, but this time from the White House; anyway, that’s the idea.
When the race is over and the president elect must show his chops, and staff his cabinet with well-able team of people; McCain should give rest to politics. After all how many times the man can run and lose. You have to really admire the man for his determination.
It’s time to dim our eyesight, sensitize the hearing membranes, and let the brain sort out and process the incoming signals.
So far, the signals were mixed and tainted, especially for those with sensitive eyesight; they should now wear darker glasses and stick hearing aids in their ears.
The same team, which was able to raise phenomenal sums in donations, through a website, especially from the now-generation, can motivate us to tighten belts and take the fix-economy ride. All one needs is respect for the new kind of intelligence and the ability to inspire and Obama proved that he could.
