Taking Back Our Country

There is a huge chunk of the United States citizenry who are fed up with the direction America is heading. This is the "Silent Majority" that has been referred to often in the past. However, they are no longer silent. In fact, they are becoming quite vocal as was evidenced recently in the "Tea Party" meetings. I think we can conclude that they are MAD AS HELL and are not going to take it any longer.

They are MAD AS HELL over the federal government totally ignoring the 10th amendment and eroding states powers at an unbelievable pace. You remember the 10th amendment, don’t you? It’s the one that specifies that powers not given to the federal government REMAIN WITH THE INDIVIDUAL STATES.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

It seems that the once silent majority wants this trend reversed and corrections made in those areas where the Feds have breached the amendment.

They are MAD AS HELL over the federal government attempting to usurp the 2nd amendment by attempting to enforce gun control via several unlawful means. No one is opposed to lawful gun control, but the violation of the 2nd amendment via nefarious means such as ammunition control can not and will not be tolerated.

They are MAD AS HELL over the federal government shirking their duty to maintain proper border control to eliminate illegal immigration. The Feds are charged with protecting us from invasion. Illegal immigration IS AN INVASION. The once silent majority demands the Feds live up to their duty and stop illegal immigration. Oh, by the way these are NOT undocumented workers, they are illegal aliens whose very first act in coming to the United States was to break some of its laws. We want them OUT!

They are MAD AS HELL over the federal government turning a blind eye to the daily murder of unborn human beings. Thousands of unborn are killed each day… THOUSANDS. This must be brought to a close and the time is now. In the recent past several murderers of pregnant woman have been found guilty of 2 murders. The pregnant woman AND her unborn child. Hey Feds, you can’t have it both ways. You can’t say murdering the child by itself is legal, but then it’s illegal if the woman is killed too. A life is a life and the killing must stop.

They are MAD AS HELL over the federal government trying to get into the health care business. Can you spell SOCIALISM? Reports say that 85% of the citizens of the country are covered by medical insurance AND ARE HAPPY with their insurance coverage. Why does the federal government think it needs to make radical changes for the other 15%? Oh, we are not against something being done for them, but LEAVE THE 85% ALONE. If the Feds get control of medical care it won’t be better. In fact it will be much worse. There will be an enormous deterioration of care and available medical services.

They are MAD AS HELL over the federal government size and costs to operate. They are tired of deficit spending and a national debt that is growing by leaps and bounds. It is time to reduce the federal government and make serious cuts in costs. The time is NOW!

They are MAD AS HELL over a Congress that is out of control and only cares about feathering their own nests. Recognizing that serving in Congress was never intended to be a career, the once silent majority wants strict term limits enforced and elimination of all congressional pensions and other after term-of-service benefits. And if and when Congress passes health care reform we want it to apply to every one of them. No more sweet heart health care package for legislators.

They are MAD AS HELL over the abuse of presidential power via the use of "Executive Orders" that have the power of law. This is clearly a violation of the intent of the founders of the country, and MUST BE STOPPED immediately. All executive orders given illegally in the past must be reversed. And no more CZARS, as this clearly is just to usurp Congress and therefore the people.

This could go on and on, but one must stop somewhere. There you have it leaders - We are MAD AS HELL over the way you have been doing things, and we are not going to take it much longer. It’s time for you to take a good look at yourselves and see if you are worthy to lead. If not, GET OUT! If you think you are, it’s time to step up and prove it. You need to commit to representing the people, not yourselves.
