Use PPC Campaigns For Site Targeted Traffic

Not so long ago, I was wondering how to increase traffic to my site. When I first discovered PPC, or Pay-Per-Click advertising, I didn't realize how powerful it could be. I also did not realize that there are a number of common pitfalls associated with this type of website traffic generation method. In particular, I found that people can create a website, and then an automated web surfing programs that will click on PPC links.

It would also have been of some help to see what IP address. At the very least, I would have been able to detect suspicious activity.

For the most part, PPC campaigns did increase traffic to my site. While some of that traffic was not legitimate, other visitors did make some purchases. All in all, I would recommend this form of web marketing, as long as sensible precautions are taken to prevent PPC fraud.
