So you have availed the best printing services. You have shown your market that you can afford the price. You have shown your competitors that you are in the market to fight.

You are one stable company that can give your target market what they deserve. Quality is your main priority when it comes to ads. That is a good sign. That is a good start. But are your ads working the way you want them to be?

If not, then what do you think is missing? You might want to go through the basic checklist of the ads that work.

• Mailing list. If your ads are to be mailed out, you have to make sure that you have the right people on the list. You need to target your marketing words to those who will be interested with your products and services.

• Right words. The words in your ads play a vital role to its success. No matter how sophisticated your materials are, in the end, it will all boil down to this. Were you able to get your message across the way you want it to be understood?

• Right materials. Your clients must feel that they really are important to you. And if you are reaching out to them through print ads, you only have one way to go. Give them the kind of materials they will opt to keep.

• Right printing company. The abovementioned can all be obtained when you avail the right printing services for your ads. So why settle for less when the right company can offer you more than what you are expecting.

This should also be your goal when it comes to your own clients. You must always exceed their expectations. It is better to do this than to keep on promising with fewer results.

2. Understand their needs. Work out ways to answer those needs.

3. Base you ad copies on the demographic differences of your target market.

4. Do not make any superfluous promises.

5. Treat them as intelligent people. Do not give them claims that are too good to be true.

6. Always take time to feel what it’s like to be on your customers’ shoes. See the ads from their point of view.

7. Avoid redundancy. Your clients may feel that you are underestimating them. As a result, they will turn against your ads.

8. Do not tire out from doing your own research. This way, you will be able to get a feel if your ads are in tune with time or you may want to try another route.

9. Learn from your mistakes. Show people that you are improving through time.

10. Always get only the best printing services. You ad words count. But where they are placed also matters.
