These are hard and fast 'rules' of belief...not just conduct, but also telling others to fit in or get out. These are not available and/or evident in Spiritualism when it is an open organization for the growth of spirituality of the individual.
Attending circles of meditation and/or learning with a teacher of some experience is a good place to gain your own feet and see what spirit is guiding your life. The methods of reaching this guidance are many and each must find their own way. It has been shown in many circles that consistency goes a long way to communion with spirit.
Also consistency of the teacher. When they present one message in one quarter and another somewhere else, they are not sure in their own personal foundation. Consistency is a good barometer of spirituality.
For organizations to exist they set up their own beliefs. In many denominations of religion there is still room for the individual church to be its own presenter of the message (even when it is dogma and creed they work with). Somewhere can be found those that truly care and work without wanting so much in return for what forms this demonstration of spirituality.
If someone burns out on their service, it was not given in love and care for the organization. It was given with expectations of return. It would not matter if they were asked to do spirit work sooner or later, it matters only the intent and purposes of the giver. Are there any true givers?
All good teachers learn and grow with their students questions. They are inspired to check out answers and keep themselves up to date with their reading and/or learning. No one text nor method works for all in this as well. We all grow in spirituality according to our own spirit connection as well as personal reading and learning.
While the internet is rife with information, sometimes it is best to be discriminating. A good friend recently pointed out that when you go looking on the internet for a specific location, it is wise to confirm the information in another way before heading out to attendance. What does that say about those so involved with the internet, they do not see there is a whole world of other input elsewhere?
Natural law works...negativity is drawing negativity to those rife with this quality. The opposite is also true...positive people, places, things are drawing to those approaching life in positive mode.
Judy Merrill's writing of spiritual literature began with articles in Spiritualism journals in Canada, England, U.S. and continued into the printing of 2 books (Awaken, My Soul! and Journey, My Soul!) which outlines the spirituality gained through Modern Spiritualism.
Judy participated in the development and worked as a principle instructor of the education courses for Modern Spiritualism in Canada. This helped to bring workers to higher standards of excellence. Because of her interest and dedication to education of the next generation of Spiritualists, several workers have been certified and ordained through the courses of study in Modern Spiritualism, through her efforts.
Judy's years of experience and commitment to provide quality psychic readings at a reasonable cost demonstrates her commitment to helping those in her community. She has worked with those seekers looking online for spiritual guidance and useful, common sense resources that allow the seeker to take control of his or her life aiding them in making better decisions to enable balance of body, mind and spirit.
