So you’re thinking of joining a network marketing company but can’t seem to figure it all out. Is it a pyramid scheme? Is it a legitimate business? What are the costs…etc…etc… Well I am here to tell it like it is and give you some pretty rock solid advice on network marketing.
My first bit of network marketing advice is to JUST DO IT!!! Get a mitt and get in the game. Unless you’re a professional in a creative field like an actor, a writer, a singer or an inventor you need to be in Network marketing. Why you ask, because of three very powerful words, residual leveraged income. You see the professional fields I’ve mentioned above all have that in common. They do a job once and continue to receive royalties or residual income from it for years to come. Let’s use an actor for example. How much money do you think the cast of friends continue to make even though their show is no longer on the air? Oodles! Why, because they continue to receive royalties or residual income. They performed a task or job once and will continue to be paid for their efforts for years to come. How many of you reading this article can say that you will be paid forever because of that report you prepared last week for your boss. Will he or she pay you every time it’s viewed? I am going to go out on a limb here and say probably not. You’ll receive your weekly paycheck and if you’re really lucky might receive a bonus for your efforts.
My second bit of network marketing advice is research, research, research. You’ve no doubt heard that network marketing is just a pyramid scheme to swindle you out of your hard earned money and to be quite honest with you; some are out to do just that, which is why you have to perform your due diligence. This is definitely not a step you want to rush. If the person trying to get you to sign up is rushing you please don’t feel obligated to jump on board. Take your time, the opportunity will no doubt be there tomorrow and I’m sure the person who approached you will be just as glad to have you join their team even if it’s a day or two later. Find out who the president is as well as some of the top distributors and Google them. Google the company and see what comes up.
My third bit of network marketing advice is to not give up. I guarantee you will hear your fair share of NO’s. You have to look at NO’s like one step closer to a yes. You have to understand that they’re not saying NO to you, they’re saying NO to the opportunity. Some will see it while others will not. The important thing to remember is that you saw it, right? You saw it enough to buy into the company right? You believed in the company enough to spend your hard earned money to buy the starter kit, or the executive package or whatever your company calls it. You bought into the mentality you bought into the lifestyle, you bought into the idea of becoming self sufficient and you bought into the freedom that unlimited wealth can bring you so the next time you hear NO just remember that there’s a yes right around the corner.
Hopefully by now you’ve come to the realization that even though you may be making a pretty good living, you’re working your butt off to get it. So you’ve got money but no time to spend it. Or you’ve got time and you’re looking for a home based business to start. What better business to start than a network marketing business.
