There is only so much an article on 11x17 poster printing can cover. Nevertheless, here are ways on how you can eliminate horrendous slip-ups in your designs, beyond they are beyond repair.
Let us then ask this question. What makes an 11x17 poster look busy?
1. The amount of details such as a multi-pattern background against a colorful image placed up front can be problematic too. Observe contrast against well defined, solid images and patterns to counter each other off. Proper use of colors is necessary too, as with the next tip.

Imitation can unlock the secrets to many of the posters you’ve been studying or gawking at. To this, you may be able to imbibe a sense of style or even grasp their own philosophy in design.
2. Color Schemes
Experimenting with colors can be fun. One way, however, to lead you back on the right track is to go back to the fundamentals. Observe the color wheel and complementary, monochromatic colors and of course, color schemes.

How to remove a file from the CD Burn list

I recently began a backup on the network at work before switching files from an old computer to a new one. I had set up to copy the larger files to the server, and burn the smaller ones to CD. I made one mistake. I accidentally copied one of the larger files into the "CD burning" list. This file was over 3 meg, and is used by the computer it was on. I cannot seem to remove it from the list because I get the error "in use by another program". If I could somehow let the burning process go forward and complete I would have the CD burner free again. Can anyone tell me how to burn this massive file to multiple cds to clear the folder?
