Five ways to easily promote a business wth little money.
1)Websites - This is essential for increasing business. Millions of searches are made every day on search engines. Some of these are for products and services. With internet shopping becoming more recognised you are sure to find new customers and even sell products through a good website. You no longer need expensive software packages to create websites. There are now lots of online website builders that are free and fast to use.
2) Online promotion - Reach even more customers by listing your business or website on online directories. There are 1000's of free directorys that will be used by your potential customers. Also pay per click advertising is a very effective way of exposing your business. Google AdWords is one of the main PPC providers and is probably the best, as your adverts will be displayed on affiliate sites.
3) Word of mouth - Probably one of the oldest ways of getting your business heard. Your customers can refer you to friends, who might use your service.
4)Directories - These are well worth the cost, get your business in all the printed directories and you will easily double the ammount of customers you recieve. The advantage is once your business has been printed it will remain in the houses of 1000s of potential customers.
5) Promotional media - Business cards, flyers, pens, freebies, signs and signwriting are just a few ideas for promotion . The one I would most reccomend is signwriting. Advertise your business on your vehicle. According to a recent survey an average busy vehicle gets seen up to 5000 times every hour, take advantage of this by buying vinyl signwriting for your vehicles.

What About Wong's Involvement in Port of LA's Pier 400?
By: Janet Gunter | 29-07-2008
Why is no one looking into Mr. Wong's involvement in the Pier 400 debacle? Wong was also President of the Harbor Commission & conveniently switched to the airport commission. Meanwhile, $108 million dollars of Federal money which was awarded to the port under the predication of "public safety" for the creation of an "Energy Island" saw it's relocation site for hazardous chemicals turn into the single largest container facility in the US exclusively for Maersk-Sealand. It's been alleged that Wong was, in fact, working for Maersk. Public safety was surrendered for this commercial venture. Why is Wong's participation in this not being investigated? The Port is where Wong first encountered the Evergreen/Eva Air Corp. on which issue he was convicted. Does anyone really believe his hands weren't in other pots?

I'm searching for contest sponsors
By: FendyBt2 | 27-07-2008
Currently I'm building my website backlinks by running a contest to get bloggers link their blog to me.
I'm just wondering where can I get some cool prizes for my upcoming contest. Maybe someone would like to sponsor me some cool prizes?
All the sponsors will get a link back from my website in the contest post and in my blogroll link. And all the bloggers that participate in the contest would have to put the sponsors link in their post. That's a lot of free backlinks just for sponsoring one contest. Anyone interested?
