Business Card Printing – Creating Impressive Winning Cards for Business

If your business card is the first and last thing that your client sees before he makes that call, he better likes what he’s looking at. But making business cards is a tricky business. The tiny space must contain the personality of your business. It must also be professional looking and made of high quality.

Printing and Design Tips for Business Cards

Here then are a set of pointers to follow to achieve professional business cards effortlessly.

• Business cards should communicate in more ways than one. First it should readily reflect the nature of your business.

• Second, it should command attention by means of design.

• Third, it should convey the quality of your service or your strongest points.

• There are sites that allow you to choose from their templates. Graphic artists are hired to make these templates to ensure high quality design. You don’t have to worry about your color wheel or balancing your design elements. Most of the time, all you have to do is input your data.

• If you choose to create your own design using graphic design software, remember to convert them into CMYK color. This is the only color system observed in printing, whether offset printing or digital printing.

• Make sure you get a digital proof of your design. If this is not available, at least a preview function should be provided before you continue your transaction. You don’t want to upload any design mistakenly, would you?

• If you want hard copy proofs, check if there is enough contrast, the colors are vibrant, and the print sharp enough to make the text and small details clear.

• You may choose from different paper materials, the gloss card stock is the regular paper with a smooth finish and a light gloss. The high gloss or the UV-coated as its name indicates is gives off a much vibrant gloss and has a laminated feel. It gives the print more vibrant colors and high contrast. Matte finish has a dull, natural finish where the prints are more subdued.

• Protect your business card better with a coating called the UV-finish. This makes your card water resistant. It also minimizes fading due to sun damage.

• Pictures should be high-resolution images. Pixels shouldn’t be visible so you don’t compromise the quality of your prints. Moreover, you won’t have to redo or re-upload such images or files.

• Trust a printing company that equips you and your business a material that is most ideal for business cards. The material has to be thick enough to maintain the shape of your calling card. It must also be resilient to minimal creasing and undue wear and tear.

In the business world where image can play a huge part, where your clients may second guess a million other things, make sure your business card is one less thing that they have to second-guess. Get professional looking, high quality, and durable business cards from no less than a professional business card printing company.
