Creating a flyer would seem easy but for best results then you need to consider many things such as:
- Target audience
- Main Information
- Most Appealing information
- Colour
- Effect on the audience
- Style of font
- Formal or informal
- Serious or not
The target audience needs to be decided first and you need to consider age, gender and the sort of person as well as wealth I suppose.
'Main Information' - Its important to consider the main information because you will have a exciting business but I am sorry you only want four points that are memorable.
'Appealing Information' - By this I mean if you need to decide between these phrases '2 jumpers for the price of one' Or 'buy one get one free' Then always go for the words that have the phrase free as this just sells it to them. Everybody loves certain words especially that 'free' word.
'Colour' - Its pretty obvious what I mean by this just look back at your target audience.
'Effect on Audience' - You need to build up a relation ship with them and the best way is to be nice and use second pronouns such as 'you' and 'we and 'your' etc.
'Style or font' again consider Target Audience.
'Formal or Informal' - A persuasive techniques is humour but if its 'Funeral Directors' you need to be serious again this drags into Target Audience.
'Serious or not' - This isn't the best example but if you were to advertise sexual products you may want to have a laugh and joke about it but unfortunately if its about Infected Sex organs then you need to be serious.
