How to Make Effective Color Brochure Prints

If you want to boost the sales of a product or promote a new service, using color brochure prints is one of the options that you can do. Not only are brochures affordable, they are also very versatile materials that you can use in a number of ways.

However, it is not easy to make an effective brochure that captures your reader’s attention. Remember that every material that you send out leaves an impression on your prospective customer and leaving the wrong impression a wrong impression is detrimental to your business.

So what can you do to ensure that you have effective color brochure prints? Here are some tips.

1. Customer always comes first.

This is always the case even in brochure design. So before spending your time in planning your color brochure prints, you should make sure that you have an idea of who your customers are and what your customers want. Make sure that you understand how they think and make their decisions. Talk to your sales staff or better yet, to your customer themselves to get an idea.

2. Don't waste precious space.

Use all your spaces wisely. Make sure that everything you include in your design is just the important elements. Also, never place anything that your customers do not care about. Your main goal is to sell your product. All the spaces in your brochures should be devoted to this goal and this goal only.

3. Sell, sell, sell.
Generally, people think of themselves more than they think of others. This is the same in business. People do not care about your product or company. What they care about is how your product will help them and make their lives easier. Pattern your brochure design keeping this fact in mind.  Remember that people do not buy clappers to turn the lights on and off. They buy them so that they do not have to find the switch.

4. Include a call to action.
After getting your readers interested in what you’re selling, it’s time to step it up a notch and tell your prospective clients what you want them to do next. Never assume that they would look for any of your contact details on their own. You must spoon fed your contact details to your customers or risk losing them when they wrongly call company instead of yours.

5. Why?
Give your readers a reason why they should avail of your services. Use special offers like special discounts for a limited time period, free gifts if they call now and cash rebates on special products and orders.

6. Make it easy to respond.
Your customers will greatly appreciate it if your business name and phone numbers are easily found in the brochure. Also include a company website or an 800 toll-free number that makes it easy for your customers to contact you.

7. Make your offer risk-free.
To seal the deal, remove all and leave no trace of doubt your customer may have on your products. You can do this by including product testimonials or better yet, offer a money back guarantee. This will surely ease all of your customer’s fears.
