You may have everything that your competitors don’t. You can easily avail postcard printing because you have the means. You are not like Company X that struggles with money each time they have to advertise.
You have it all. And you are using postcard printing to brag all about what you have that others don’t. You want everybody to know that you are one great company that can allocate big budget on advertising alone.

Bragging is good, especially if the things that you are saying are true and you can back those up with facts. But if you periodically send out postcards to a list who repeatedly read the superlative things about you, how do you think they would feel?
The Consequences of Too Much Bragging
1. You will alienate your target market.
The first time that your ads’ recipients read your ad copies, they will surely get impressed. They will think that you are one stable company that can be trusted to come up with what they need when they need it.
But the next time that your target market receives your ads written the same way, what do you think their reactions will be? They might frown upon your ads.
You’ve already captured their attention. They know that you are a good company. You should have used that advantage to gear your ads to work the magic. Answer their unsaid questions. Be the provider that they have long been looking for.
After the bragging part, you should tell your customers what benefits they will get from availing your products and services. Make them feel that you are always thinking of them. Imagine how it would feel for your clients to know that such great and big company looks after what they want and what they need.
2. Your ads will sound like spam.
This is the least thing that you want to happen to your ads. You have invested money to come up with quality postcards. You don’t want that to be perceived by the recipients as good to be trashed ads the first time they get hold of your materials.
3. You can lose your credibility.
If people will always be presented with too many details about your great company that they need not be concerned about, they will lose interest with what you are saying.
So after some bragging, change the tone of your next ads. Focus more about the needs of your clients. Talk to them directly through your ads. If you know what they want, you will be able to create the right ads that will answer such need.
It is easy to know your audience. You only have to do a thorough market analysis before you sit down on your every advertisement.
It is easy to avail postcard printing services and distribute your materials to your target market. Just don’t commit the mistake of too much bragging if you want your ads to be a success.
