Why Outsourcing Your Printing is Better for Business

With printing technologies getting more accessible to businesses, a question arises. Can you now just rely on in-house printing for all your printing needs or do you still need to hire a printing company? There are distinct advantages in just producing your own prints of course, but I am here to tell you that outsourcing to a printing company is still very much recommended for business. Speaking from experience, I have discovered that online printing services are still better in the long run than having to setup your own in-house printing infrastructure. Below are the important points that you should know about.

• Lesser worries – Online printing basically gives you less worries. When I tried to setup my own in house printing for business, the only word for it is “disaster”. Not only do I have to mind the setup of the printer, the supplies of ink and paper as well as the cutting and folding of the printed materials, but of course, you have to staff it as well with professionals that will cost a lot. In online printing there are no such worries. The printing company will handle everything and all I needed to do was give the designs, my preferred options and my payment. So if you need less worries, it is still best to outsource printing.

• Decreased cost – I also discovered of course that outsourcing your printing decreases the overall cost in having it made. The trouble with in house printing is that you will need to spend some capital to get the equipment needed for printing. Large digital printers can be very expensive, and of course hiring a professional or two to operate and maintain it will add more costs. In online printing, none of this will be needed. You just have to pay the printing order which is significantly lower than paying a small staff for in house printing.

• Better quality prints – Of course, one big plus for outsourcing your printing is the quality. Professional printing companies of course have the best printing machines available. This includes the hi-tech off-set printing machines that gives the clearest printing in the industry. You will be sure to get the best quality prints, with the best in terms of cutting folding and processing. If you tried to do this all “in house”, with only a few amateurs, you might not only tire yourself, but also only come up with mediocre prints. So go for outsourced online printing if you really want better quality prints.

• Better distribution – Finally, distributing your printed materials can be quite easy when you print online. Online printing services usually offer delivery perks which may also include deliveries to specific addresses just like the postal service. You can basically use them for your marketing distribution scheme, especially if you plan on printing your marketing mails with them. So printing online can be a one stop shop for your printing and marketing needs, quite the nice partner for business.

So why don't you try out printing online? It won't be a risk really and you can even pull out if you don't want to continue. Just try it out and discover the nice advantages that outsourcing your printing online can give you. Good Luck!
