The Process of Building Logic
Let us say ,for example we have a simple statement:' I need a hammer and nails or a screwdriver and screws.'How can we construct a mathematical equation of this statement , which will be useful in creating a Computer Program ?To avoid any confusion, we will use brackets & the simple mathematical equation that we have is;'I need (a hammer (X) and nails (Y) ) or (a screwdriver (A)and screws (B) ).' This is just like any other mathematical equation ( X& Y or A & B ) and this is how it will be represented in Computing . Function GetTools( ) Return X& Y or A & B End Function This example simply illustrates how we can build a logical order to remove confusion and avoid bad results. Similarly while authoring Java/C++/VB.NET programs ., we need to build , develop logically correct order to get accurate results for our problems .
If we have to build the same logical order again and again , we must develop an algorithm for performing such task.Developing AlgorithmThe Process of algorithm building is based on following Logical Frame Work :Whether the given logical condition is true or false ? (Validity)If the Logical Condition is Valid , Does it follow a given assumption or condition ?How can we deduce/get the a desired conclusion/result/output from given logical condition /axioms? (Provability)How ever , for some students building an algorithm is not an easy task , Students just shy away from C / C++ Language (a Language typicallytaught first to a budding programmer in most of the schools .
