If there is one thing that many people are guilty of, it is looking for the quick fix instead of trying healthier alternatives first. There are some people who try many alternatives before they turn to conventional medicinal therapy, but more will unfortunately opt for the pills rather than give alternatives a fair chance. It appears to be human nature to be a little impatient to start with, but with today’s pressures in trying to make a living and get everything done in one day, tolerance takes a dive and impatience soars. It could be for this reason that many will go for the typically temporary medicinal therapy and try to make it a permanent solution to their problem. This is especially true for people who are suffering from insomnia or difficulty in trying to sleep. Rather than try and change their diet or their daily habits that possibly contribute to their problem, they go for the pills because it is easier. Unfortunately, this can have a negative effect on the individual who becomes reliant on a solution that is actually meant to be a temporary therapy.
People don’t often stop to think about what can happen if they rely on something too long. Many can become so dependant on sleeping pills that without them they can’t get to sleep at all. In fact, some people can actually develop and addiction to sleeping pills. What most people will be unaware of is that sleeping pills don’t actually allow the body to get the rest it needs. The pills put the person under, but this is a forced sleep and is not one that the body reacts to overly well over a long period of time. After a while, the person can become affected emotionally, even to the point of becoming irritable and depressed. When it really gets down to it, downing pills doesn’t solve the initial problems. They are simply a quick fix that the person takes advantage of instead of trying to find out why they can’t sleep and finding sleep in a natural way.
Really, no medications should be taken without consulting a doctor. People who are having trouble sleeping can contact an online therapist or counselor and discuss their difficulty getting to sleep. While they go through the therapy, they might prescribed some temporary medications that can help them relax and sleep while they go through therapy to find out why they might be having trouble sleeping. The online therapist can easily communicate with the patient through messaging back and forth and can help the patient uncover any issues the patient might have. In most cases, when these issues are exposed and dealt with, the patient can eventually have an easier time falling asleep without the aid of sleeping pills. Difficulty in finding sleep can be solved in many ways without having to rely on the help of sleeping pills. It is better for both the mind and body when a person can relax and go to sleep naturally. There is no artificial supplement to sleep that will give the person the quality of rest they get from the natural thing.

Should I call him? I need your advice... What should I do??
By: Alleymoore | 25-10-2008
My question is should I keep calling him until he answers, go over to his house, or give up on him all together?
Let me give you a little bit of background information first though...
Okay so I?ve had a crush on this guy Paul since high school which would make it about 10 years but at the same time I have also had the same off and on BF for almost nine years. So a couple years ago I ran into Paul at the bar and we immediately hit it off and I ended up breaking up with my boyfriend to hook up with him. So time goes on... We never really made anything official we were just kind of seeing each other I guess. I really wanted to be with him but he?s the type of guy that does his own thing and I'm assuming doesn?t want to answer to anyone or have someone around all the time because the guy has not had a GF in 5 or more years. But who really knows?
So to make a long story short he ends up slowly not returning my phone calls and I would sometimes only talk to him once a month when we would hook up but other than that I very rarely saw the guy. So I ended up getting back together with my boyfriend and moving in with him, which he did not know and have pretty much been with him since. (This was like 2yrs ago)
Now all of a sudden Paul has come back into my life and we've been hanging out like everyday and I?ve crashed at his place a few times. He was sending me texts and calling me all the time. He knows I have a BF but that just something we haven?t really talked about. I mean I love Paul, I am so in love with him and have always wanted him to be with me but he has never really showed any interest in making it official. It?s weird because he always says really nice things to me and we will hang out consistently for a month then all of a sudden I won?t hear from him.
As now as of Monday, I have called him a few times and sent him texts and have gotten no response! This is really frustrating to me because I don?t understand why? I thought it might be the whole BF issue but I don?t think that it because he has done this many times before even when I didn?t have a BF. So now I am totally discouraged and am going crazy because I don?t know what I should do! I love him so much but am it even worth my time and energy? I want to tell him how I really feel but he wont even return my calls! I know he has a hard time talking about his feelings but he?s giving me nothing and it?s driving me crazy! What should I do? Send him a text telling him I can?t stand that he?s not answering my calls? Should I go to his house and talk to him or act like it?s all good? I don?t know please tell me what you think... I am open to any suggestions.
Can i get hiv from kissing a guy who might be ...
By: hmmilike2bhealthy | 24-10-2008
can i get hiv from kissing a guy who might be infected, although he is now homeless with horrible hygiene, he amazingly has great oral hygiene. i kissed him. i had no cuts in my mouth, i don't think he did either. i'm actually pretty sure of it. he probably has better oral hygiene actually than i do! it was a french, twice. the first lasted one second. the second lasted 5. i didn't really want to do it but i felt bad for him and he wanted to so i did. he also touched my clit for about 20 seconds, and although his fingertips were dirty (his nails had dirt under them) he had no open visible cuts on his fingertips and my clit was healthy, no broken skin or sores. look, have some sympathy for me, my boyfriend and i were having problems at the time, this guy is very good looking and it was basically for comfort at the time. i did not have sex with him or give him a blow job. luckilly for me, i found out he might have hiv before i would have ever even considered doing these things. based on the risks of the two behaviors, do you think i am still probably safe, hiv-free? i promise to never cheat on my boyfriend again, not even with a kiss. it's just not worth it. -t.

Viewing Aura Colors Through Biofeedback
By: Temp | 10/11/2008
Many people hear the term "aura cameras" and assume that the technology is false. After all, for years, auras were relegated to the visions of psychics who claimed to be able to see auras around people. This was subject to much criticism from skeptics who were quick to ask for scientific proof that could not be provided by those who had this ability.

A Blind Doctor?
By: Thomas Greenslade | 04/11/2008
Even the most brilliant or practical of men make many grave errors because they are in spiritual darkness. They cannot see what is right in front of them. They make fundamental errors and go in completely the wrong direction because they are in darkness. Few people are really helped by their psychological or spiritual counsel. They may be helped just a little, just enough to keep them trusting, and be misled, and even be destroyed because the person they trusted was blind.
The Power of not Accepting What You Experience as Reality
By: Broderick Boyd | 02/11/2008
Not accepting what you are experiencing as reality is a valuable tool because it will help you to discover what you really want in your life and how to get it, it will boost your faith in perusing your goal, and lastly it will make it more difficult for other people and external circumstances to influence you against your will.
