For a long time, auras were only visible to those who had the ability to see or sense them with the naked eye. This was a very small percentage of the population, which led many others to believe that the aura colors these people claimed to be seeing were nothing more than ruses and scams. Today, this has changed, in part due to the development of the aura camera. This new technology has opened up the vision of auras to all who wish to see them and provides far more concrete evidence, as it were, that auras are in fact, quite real. This technology is especially exciting for those who work heavily with energy in the healing arts.
One thing that really helps people to understand what aura photography is all about is knowing the process by which the auric field is photographed. There are two main components in this process: an AuraCam and a hand censor. The hand sensor, which has several connection points on the hand (each of which correspond to an organ in the body), is actually a biofeedback machine. The sensor measures and collects several sets of data from the body. It measures the electromagnetic field around the body and the amount of static electricity. It also takes note of temperature and humidity around the body and any changes that occur in those fields. This data is then put together and projected around the person to create the radiantly-colored aura that shows up around them in the aura photograph.
In the initial stages of the development of this type of photography, the process centered around capturing the image on a Polaroid photograph. While an important part of the process, this was rather limited from the perspective of the healing modalities as it could only show the aura during the time the picture was taken. That is why interactive aura photography is so wonderful- it projects the image onto a television or computer screen in real time. For the most part, a person's aura changes with any given mental shift, and this can all be watched live via interactive aura photography.
This new technology proves such an amazing opportunity for healers to really get an in-depth look at what they are working with. Think about it- how often does a person doing energy work actually get to see the auric shifts that are caused by their healing work? Not very often was the answer up until interactive aura photography became available. On a diagnostic level, it can be very beneficial to see exactly what the imbalances are and what shifts need to be made. The use during treatment is also quite clear in that you would actually be able to see the affect that any given therapy had on a person! What have you got to lose in trying?
