Conversation Hypnosis - The Secret Hypnosis Techniques That Aren't Commonly Known

Conversation hypnosis is, without any doubt, one of the most powerful of all hypnosis techniques to learn.  There are several very specific and significant reasons for this.  The main one is its use in daily life; there isn't an area of hypnosis that conversation hypnosis is even close to being rivalled with on that significant point.

Typical examples of where conversation hypnosis has helped people come out on top of a situation include areas such as:

  • salary negotiations (trust me, this is a popular area that people want to learn about, and is the number one question area that beginners grill me on!);
  • domestic arguments;
  • at points of sale, such as car purchases or negotiations of insurance fees;
  • chatting up members of the opposite sex.

Unfortunately for the average Joe "man on the street", conversation hypnosis is also in an area of hypnosis which tends to be closely guarded.  On the other hand, it used to be much worse than it is these days. There are some excellent courses out there, but only in recent times has the topic started to open up as welcoming to the complete beginner to hypnosis practice.  When I frst started practice, it was one of the most frustrating aspects of my learning, and felt that the hypnosis community could be a lot more welcoming towards its potential members.  It gives me great pleasure to see things changing in that regard.

The reasons for this are mainly related to the fact that it's so powerful i.e. that conversation hypnosis can be used on a day to day basis.  The other reason is that it's relatively difficult to master, and requires a well-written course or skilled mentor to correctly encourage a student before they begin to see concrete results from their efforts.

To give an illustration of what is meant by the acknowledgement of training difficulty in this area, imagine the difference between two scenarios.  In Scenario A, we have a stage hypnotist calling for volunteers from his audience crowd.  In Scenario B we have a conversation hypnosis learner opening a salary negotiation with his boss.

In Scenario A, the hypnotist may be spoilt for choice as to which audience member he picks.  He may choose the most obvious person who looks vulnerable to manipulation and verbal influence via conversation hypnosis.  He's also starting from a comfortable position in the first place, despite this extra advantage, since his audience believe in his skill and are open to his efforts.

Now consider Scenario B, whose audience is an unforgiving task master whose main aim is to NOT give any salary increases to his employees, as long as they stick around in their jobs.  He is a hostile target, and requires very skillful manipulation to produce the outcome desired whilst ensuring the boss doesn't know of any mind control method being used! This is a situation where conversation hypnosis can shine, but only when the correct course has been followed and practice undertaken.
